“Growing up, my family traveled to Abingdon often to visit my grandparents and large, extended family.  It was, and still is my happy place.  This area is home to charming, historic towns, rolling farmland, beautiful foothills, bold streams, and blue mountains.  When the youngest of my two children was born, we made the decision to leave the big city behind and make SWVA our home.  If you fall in love with the area as I did, I’d be thrilled to help you find your way home.  And, if you’re already a local and looking to downsize, upsize, move to the country, or closer to town—I’m your gal!

I’m passionate about design and saving forgotten structures—both the historic and not-so-historic.  In addition to the experience I have designing and renovating more than twenty homes, I have moved dozens of times, and I am well acquainted with the emotional ups-and-downs that come with buying or selling a home.

Before starting a career in real estate, I spent eight years teaching.  That experience gifted me with a love of helping others, as well as a knack for planning, organizing, and an attention to detail.  My work ethic is unparalleled, and my goal is to make your experience of buying or selling a home a positive and joy-filled process!

My childhood was filled with golden days on the lake and camping trips with the whole family.  After high school, I studied at Marshall University and  graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English Education.   After graduating, I spent more than a decade in Nashville, which is where I began my real estate career.  The big city taught me plenty, and my experiences navigating a competitive market made me a better agent.   We left Nashville in search of a simpler life.

Our hope was to provide our children with a magical childhood, where they could run wild and be free.  These days, we spend a great deal of time hiking our local trails, gardening, and swimming in South Holston Lake —for us small-town life is the best life!”
